- Listen to clients requirements and reason for bathroom renovations
- Establish an initial layout and design for a bathroom
- Provide an obligation free Proposal for the bathroom renovation
- Detailed plans drawn up using CAD program
- Appointment made onsite going over in detail the bathroom plan fine tuning all the finer details of the bathroom
- Product selection, or providing a ‘shopping list’ if the client chooses to purchase their own hardware and tiles
- Start and completion date locked in
- Master Building Domestic Building Contract drawn up, and signed by both Client and My Bathroom
- Deposit paid. 10% for under $20k, or 5% for over $20k contract amount.
- All floors and furniture covered leading up to bathroom
- Skip delivered to site, to remain for entire project
- Bathroom removed
- All new plumbing points prepared in their proposed location, and tested.
- All electrical points run to new proposed locations.
- All associated carpentry works for the proposed new bathroom
- All walls levelled and straightened ready for plastering
- New water proof plasterboard installed and finished ready for tiling or painting
- The most critical component of the job.
- This done by Carl, the director himself, a registered water proofer.
- Floors prepared and levelled if necessary
- All floors, showers and bath areas water proofed as per AS 3740-2010
- At this stage the bathroom will get painted prior to all the fittings getting installed
- Tile setout determimed at design stage for a symetrical evenly spread tiled layout
- Tiler to follow the agreed tile set out and tile bathroom, grout and calk all architectural joins.
- All plumbing and electrical fixtures installed and tested
- All bathroom accessories installed
- Shower screen installed
- Bathroom cleaned and sanitised
- All protetive flooring and furniture coverings removed, and all floor vaccumed and mopped
